Our Podiatrists

Bruce Morris

I graduated from QMU with a BSc (Hons) in 2015. Since graduating I have held various podiatry positions in both the NHS and in private. Initially I worked in NHS borders as a generalist podiatrist which provided me an opportunity to treat a wide range of conditions and find my interest in MSK, biomechanics and developmental biomechanics. I have also worked in Edinburgh in private practice in a mainly MSK and sports podiatry focused role where I routinely treated runners. I completed and commenced running rehabilitation with gait analysis and retraining in 2018.

In 2019 I moved into a specialist MSK podiatry role with Olivia Martin where we both enjoyed a very progressive time. By working in that role, I was able to become part of the teaching cohort on National Education Scotland’s Digital Leadership Program (DLP) as well as working alongside various specialist areas such as orthopeadic, paediatrics, rheumatology amongst others.

In 2023 I moved into a teaching position at QMU to become a lecturer in podiatry. This has offered me a unique insight into the podiatry world.

Currently I am working towards my MSc in Clinical Biomechanics from Staffordshire University.

On a personal level, I am a proud father of twin children who are currently 4 years of age and a husband. I love being active and still race bikes, although this is getting tougher to do with my other commitments. My family enjoys travel, which is something that Jane and I have in common.

I hope that I can have the opportunity to assess and treat you during my time at Jane Muir Podiatry.
